Disney's The Lion King Heading To Select UK And Ireland Theatres

Disney's The Lion King will run at select theatres in late 2021 and throughout 2022. 

The record-breaking musical will open for limited runs at Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre between December 2021 and February 2022, Bristol's Hippodrome in February and March 2022, Bradford's Alhambra Theatre in the spring, Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre during the summer, and Southampton's Mayflower Theatre and Manchester's Palace Theatre in the autumn. 

With a cast of more than 50 actors, singers and dancers, the story of Simba's epic adventure is brought to life using spectacular masks, puppets and costumes. The production premiered in London in October 1999 at the Lyceum Theatre, which has remained its home 22 years on.

Tickets are on sale now, except for the Bristol dates, which go on sale at 10am on September 24.
