Rise Against have shared details of a new EP.

Due out on November 12 via Loma Vista, the six-track 'Nowhere Sessions' will serve as a "live expansion" of the Chicago punk band's latest album 'Nowhere Generation', released in June.

It'll comprise live versions of the record's songs Talking To Ourselves, Broken Dreams, Inc. and the title-track, along with their 2008 cut Savior, plus a cover of Misfits' Hybrid Moments, and Creedence Clearwater Revival's Fortunate Son. As a preview, they've dropped Talking To Ourselves. Singer and guitarist, Tim McIlrath commented:

"Talking To Ourselves is about watching yourself and the people around you fall into complacency. Despite your best efforts to get people’s attention, it feels like no one is listening. Sometimes we feel the urge to do something crazy, to disturb the peace, to jostle the world around us awake. Our actions might be seen as out of the ordinary, but they are acts of desperation when all else failed."

McIlrath and Zach Blair of the band will play three previously announced stripped back UK shows this November. The band will also appear at Download festival next summer, alongside other European festival slots.

'Nowhere Sessions' tracklist:

1. Talking To Ourselves
2. Broken Dreams, Inc.
3. Fortunate Son
4. Nowhere Generation
5. Hybrid Moments
6. Savior
