James Taylor Postpones UK And European Tour Due To COVID-19

Friday, 12 November 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

James Taylor has postponed his UK and European tour plans.

The legendary singer-songwriter was due to hit the road with his All-Star Band early in 2022, but the shows have been pulled due to coronavirus travel restrictions, with new dates yet to be confirmed.

Previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the corresponding new concerts. A statement from Taylor's management reads:

"James is disappointed to announce today that his upcoming European tour, previously set to begin in January 2022, has been postponed due to concerns about COVID-19. Rescheduled dates will be announced as quickly as possible.

Previously purchased tickets will be honoured for all new concert dates and fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. Please reach out to your point of purchase should you prefer a refund and if you still have questions, please reach out to James's team.

We greatly appreciate your patience while we work towards rescheduling these concerts."

Taylor recently wrapped up a rescheduled North American trek. He's touring behind his latest album, 'American Standard', released in 2020.
