Aldous Harding Details New Album 'Warm Chris', Shares Lead Single Lawn

Aldous Harding has announced her fourth studio album.
The follow-up to 2019's 'Designer' is called 'Warm Chris' and will arrive on March 25 via on 4AD. Recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, the LP finds the New Zealand musician working again with producer John Parish, who helmed its predecessor.
As a preview, watch the video for the first single Lawn below, where you can also check out the record's artwork and tracklist. Jazzy percussion anchors the song, which opens with a repeating piano melody and Harding's gentle, childlike vocals. Harding said:
"It was recorded in my favorite place on earth — Rockfield Studios with John Parish, H. Hawkline, Steve Rockford, and engineer Joe Jones. Listening back, it sounds to me like there’s something completely new happening with my voice. The vocals are tiny. I won’t try to speak about sound too much, because it’s here, and I don’t want to ruin or create a surprise. It reminds me personally/musically of a large horse trying to keep up with a train."
Harding will tour the UK and Europe in the spring, followed by North American dates in the summer.
