The National have announced a US tour for the summer.
The trek will kick off with a headline appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on July 15, with dates running through to September.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on April 1. The group have partnered with Plus1 to donate $1 from each ticket to the Plus1 Ukraine Relief Fund and also Buffalo String Works. Announcing the shows, the band said:
"We are excited to finally share our full tour itinerary for summer 2022. The last couple years have given us ample time for reflection and rejuvenation. Summer 2022 is a time for reunion. We look forward to gathering with friends, old and new. United in music and light, suspended in time. We hope you can join us."
The National also have a run of rescheduled UK and Ireland gigs in the diary for the summer, including a slot at London's All Points East festival, and a headline show at Connect Festival at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh. They released their latest album, 'I Am Easy To Find', in 2019.
