Suede Introduce 'Autofiction' LP With New Track She Still Leads Me On, Confirm Intimate London Shows

Suede have announced their ninth studio album, along with two intimate London shows.
The follow-up to 2018's 'The Blue Hour' is called 'Autofiction' and will arrive on September 16 via BMG. According to a press statement, the band decided to go "back to basics" for the record, recalling their most formative days recording live at Konk Studios in North London and realigning with longtime producer Ed Buller.
"Autofiction is our punk record. No whistles and bells," said vocalist Brett Anderson. "Just the five of us in a room with all the glitches and fuck-ups revealed; the band themselves exposed in all their primal mess."
Suede, completed by Mat Osman, Simon Gilbert, Richard Oakes and Neil Codling, have previewed the record with the heartfelt lead single, She Still Leads Me On, a guitar-led anthemic rocker that offers a soaring chorus along with the group's trademark glammy aesthetic. It was written by Anderson for his late mother.
Following its release, Suede will play two intimate shows at London's Electric Ballroom on October 5 and 6, with more dates to be announced soon. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on May 27.
