Rage Against The Machine Cancel Upcoming UK And European Tour

Rage Against The Machine have cancelled their upcoming UK and European tour.
The rescheduled trek was due to begin on August 24 with a show in Edinburgh before headline sets at Reading and Leeds festival, then shows across the continent.
However, the concerts have been pulled "per medical guidance". Exact details of Zack De La Rocha's ailment weren't given, but during their recent North American tour he injured himself, having to carry on with one concert while sitting on a monitor and was then carried off the stage at the end of the show due to not being able to walk.
The band confirmed in their cancellation statement that their upcoming shows at Madison Square Garden in New York are unaffected and will be going ahead:
"Per medical guidance, Zack de la Rocha has been advised that the August and September 2022 UK and European leg of the Rage Against The Machine tour cannot proceed. It is with great disappointment that we announce this cancellation.
"Rage Against The Machine will be finishing their run at Madison Square Garden on August 11, 12 7 14 and then Zack must eturn home for rest and rehabilitation. The flights, travel time and rigorous schedule in the UK and Europe are simply too much of a risk for a complete recovery.
"We are so sorry to all of our fans who have waited years to see us and hope to Rage again soon.
