Beyoncé Duets With Ronald Isley For Reimagining Of Make Me Say It Again Girl, Pts. 1 & 2

Friday, 12 August 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

The Isley Brothers have collaborated with Beyoncé for a new version of the duet Make Me Say It Again, Girl.

The track is a reworking of the soul and funk legends' song Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2), from their 13th studio album, 1975's 'The Heat Is On'. It arrives after 81-year-old Ronald Isley teased a clip of the new version on Instagram earlier this week.

It finds Beyoncé and Isley trading smooth, soulful vocals, wrapping up with a harmonised a cappella outro from the Texan superstar. Press play below.

In July, Beyoncé returned with 'Renaissance', her first solo album since 2016’s 'Lemonade'. According to the 40-year-old, it's 'Act I' of a "three act project."

She recently teamed up with Madonna for the latest in a series of remixes of the record's lead single, Break My Soul, paying homage to the Queen Of Pop's hit Vogue.
