Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit Announce New Album 'Weathervanes'

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have announced a new album.
'Weathervanes', the follow-up to 2021's 'Georgia Blue', is set to arrive on June 9 via Southeastern Records/Thirty Tiger. It was recorded at Nashville’s Blackbird Studio. Grammy winner Isbell said:
“There is something about boundaries on this record. As you mature, you still attempt to keep the ability to love somebody fully and completely while you’re growing into an adult and learning how to love yourself.”
As the first preview of the record, Isbell and band have shared its opener, Death Wish, a candid folk-rock track about loving someone with depression, with dramatic strings courtesy of Sylvia Massy.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will support 'Weathervanes' with a North American tour that will run throughout the spring and summer. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on February 24. Head below for details.
Isbell and his wife, Amanda Shires, were recently announced as the global ambassadors for this year's Record Store Day.
