Arriving via 23 Recordings, the explosive alt-rock track offers a pit-ready fusion of fiery guitar riffs and pulsing bass. It marks the singer-songwriter's first release since her 2022 debut mixtape, 'Sad Girl'. She said:
"I made Boom whilst I was having a manic episode. I had gone into mania that morning and wanted to write about what it feels like for me. Experiencing extreme highs and lows can be so draining, so writing this felt like scratching an itch that can’t be scratched."
Following up her dates supporting My Chemical Romance and Sum 41 in 2022, Cassyette will embark on her first UK and European headline tour this spring, kicking off in Liverpool on March 10 and wrapping up in Milan, Italy on April 6. She also appears at UK festival Boardmasters in August.
