First Aid Kit Reschedule Liverpool Show And Change Venue

First Aid Kit have rescheduled their Liverpool show.
Their gig at Liverpool's Olympia has now been rearranged to two dates at the O2 Academy Liverpool on August 14 and 15. The Swedish sisters confirmed the news with a post on social media:
"First we want to apologize for the time that it has taken to get here and thank you for your patience while we worked through the schedule, the still on-going insurance claim, and venue availability logistics.
"Postponing the Olympia show back in December broke our hearts; we were sitting in town ready to head to the venue when we were told that due to an accident at load-in (not caused by our crew) that damaged the roof the venue was unsafe to enter and thus we were unable to play.
"The last thing we wanted to do was disappoint you so last minute, and it’s been a priority for us to figure out how to get back and make it possible to play for all of you who had tickets. The best solution given the averrable venues is to reschedule across two nights at O2 Academy Liverpool on Monday Aug 14th and Tuesday Aug 15th, 2023.
"All customers who have held onto their tickets will be contacted by their point of purchase with details of their new tickets, ticket redistribution will be split over both nights. Original tickets will not be valid for the new shows, so if you can and want to come to the rescheduled dates pls make sure you secure a new ticket. While we hope as many of you who had planned to come in December can make it as possible, if you can't or do not want to attend refunds have and will continue to be available at your original point of purchase. If anyone has any problems obtaining their new tickets or a refunds, pls write firstaidkit@littlionmgmt.com and your request will be directed to someone who can best assist. Any tickets left after allocations will go on sale for both shows Friday at 9am."
Original tickets will not be valid for the new dates, though ticket holders will be contacted by their point of purchase with details of how to get new tickets, which go on general sale at 9am this Friday (March 24).
Klara and Johanna Söderber will also headline South Facing Festival in London this summer, as well as top the bill at Green Man in Wales, and the Wider Than Pictures concert series at Collins Barracks in the National Museum of Ireland.
They released their fifth album, 'Palomino', in November 2022.
