Dominic Fike Confirms July Release For Second Album 'Sunburn', Shares New Song Ant Pile

Friday, 26 May 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Dominic Fike has announced his sophomore album.

Titled 'Sunburn', the follow-up to 2020's 'What Could Possibly Go Wrong' will arrive through Columbia Records on July 7. It'll include the April single Dancing In The Courthouse, along with the newly unveiled track Ant Pile.

Driven by looping guitar licks and romantic lyrics that recall a school crush, the new song fits with the record's autobiographical theme, which was inspired by growing up in Florida. Press play below.

The majority of the record was recorded in the singer-songwriter and actor's home state with producer Jim-E-Stack, Dijon drummer Henry Kwapis, and bassist Devon Workman.
