Lost 1977 Neil Young Album 'Chrome Dreams' To Be Released In August

A lost Neil Young album will arrive this summer.
'Chrome Dreams' was recorded between 1974 and 1977, and will finally see an official release on August 11 via Reprise Records. Initially slated to drop in 1977, it comprises 12 tracks, including four originals that were re-recorded or overdubbed and went on to become classics on later records.
For example, Powderfinger and Pocahontas eventually featured on 1979's 'Rust Never Sleeps' LP, while Sedan Delivery and Hold Back The Tears contain different lyrics than the versions on later Young albums. Young recently confirmed a return to the road, with a series of dates lined up around the West Coast of the US in July, at which he'll perform songs that he hasn't played live in a very long time.
This year, the twice-inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also put out an album with Crazy Horse, 'All Roads Lead Home', in March.
