The Ghost Inside have returned with a new single called Earn It.
Produced by Dan Braunstein, the track marks the Los Angeles metalcore band's first new release since their 2020 self-titled album. It deals in crushing metallic guitars, white-knuckle percussion and throat-shredding screams that shift to soaring clean vocals. Discussing the song's meaning, frontman Jonathan Vigil said:
"Sometimes people think because of the social status or circumstances they’re born into, they’re entitled to greatness. Nothing worthwhile is ever gonna be handed to you. You gotta Earn It."
The track arrives ahead of their co-headline North American tour with Underoath. It kicks off on July 15 with an appearance at Inkcarceration Festival in Mansfield, Ohio.
