Dan And Shay Preview Fifth Album 'Bigger Houses' With Three New Songs

Dan And Shay have shared a new song, Save Me The Trouble.
The country-pop track ushers in a new era for Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, serving as the lead single off their fifth studio album, 'Bigger Houses', due out on September 15 via Warner Music Nashville.
Offering a more stripped down sound, but retaining their pitch-perfect vocal harmonies heard on previous records, it arrives along with two other acoustic tracks from the record, Heartbreak On The Map and the title track. Head below to view all three accompanying videos. Expanding on Save Me The Trouble, Smyers said:
"I don't think I've ever been prouder of a song that I am this one. We wanted to have something that was a real moment, and when we started writing this, it felt like it could be something big. I wanted every section to build, and even in the second chorus, when you're like, ‘Okay, there's no way it could possibly get any crazier,’ then Shay takes off even further."
Co-produced by Smyers, the record follows 2021's 'Good Things'. He added: "Some of our records have been more pop or hip hop/R&B-infused, but on this record, I wanted to make tracks that we could hop up at any bar anywhere with our live band and play the songs as they were recorded.
"Ultimately, this music, this whole album, is something that I'll be able to look back on in a decade or two and be really proud of the way it turned out."
The pair have a series of North American shows in the diary for August and September.
