DragonForce Announce Co-Headline UK And European Tour With Amaranthe, Share New Track Doomsday Party

DragonForce have shared a new standalone single, Doomsday Party.
Drawing influences from '80s rock, the power-metal offering is rife with shredding guitar solos and electronic effects from retro video games. It marks the first taster of a forthcoming album, which the band has described as their most ambitious ever. Guitarist Herman Li commented:
"We're super excited to unveil a brand-new DragonForce song after a wait of over four years! It was a tough decision to choose which of our new tracks to release first, but we decided on this one because it showcases a different facet of our music while still retaining the unmistakable DragonForce sound."
Head below to view the accompanying video. Li added: "The filming process for this video was a blast, and we had the opportunity to bring our vision to life in the city of Los Angeles, California. Our hope is that metal fans from all walks of the genre spectrum will find something to enjoy in it. We can't wait to play this live during our upcoming tour!"
The London-based group will be joined by Amaranthe for a run of co-headlining European dates in 2024, including UK shows in Bristol, Manchester and London between March 22 and 24. Support on all dates will come from Infected Rain, with tickets on general sale at 9am local time on September 20.
DragonForce also have a North American tour in the diary for the autumn. They last released an album in 2019 with 'Extreme Power Metal'.
