Nicki Minaj has pushed back the release of her new album for a second time.
'Pink Friday 2' will now arrive on December 8, the rapper's 41st birthday, instead of the previously announced November 17. She confirmed the news via a video posted to her Instagram account on Tuesday (October 24) evening.
"The new album date for this incredible body of work, that I am so proud of is on a special day to me and to the Barbz — it will come out on my birthday," Minaj said. "Pink Friday 2 I am so happy to announce will be out on my birthday."
The sequel to her 2010 debut 'Pink Friday' was originally slated to arrive on October 20, which was then later pushed to November 17.
Minaj has teased the project with the singles, Last Time I Saw You, Super Freaky Girl and Red Ruby Da Sleeze. Earlier in October, she dropped a previously unreleased song called Bahm Bahm, though that won't appear on the upcoming record.
It'll mark her first full-length studio release since 2018's 'Queen', though she put out the greatest hits collection 'Queen Radio: Volume 1' in 2022.
