Willie Nelson Announces New Album 'The Border', Shares Title Track

Willie Nelson has announced a new studio album.
The country music icon will release his 75th solo studio album, 'The Border', on May 31, a month after his 91st birthday. The LP comprises 10 songs, four of which were co-written by Nelson and his long-time collaborator Buddy Cannon, with the remaining six penned by songwriters Shawn Camp, Mike Reid and Bobby Tomberlin.
It's previewed by the title track, a stripped back acoustic interpretation of Rodney Crowell's 2019 song about the Texas border.
Nelson, whose latest album is 2023's 'Bluegrass', will hit the road with Bob Dylan this summer for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour, with special guests Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp and Billy Strings on select dates.
He'll also play US shows around an appearance at Stagecoach festival in Indio, California this spring. Tickets are on sale now.
