Metronomy drummer Anna Prior has announced her debut solo EP.

Prior, who is also a producer and DJ, will release 'Almost Love' on June 13 via House Anxiety. Produced by James Greenwood (aka Ghost Culture), Moullinex, and PPJ, it'll feature the previously unveiled Tech Não and the breezy new dance single Fall Back, which comes paired with an AI-directed video from Tom Furse. She said of the track:

"The song is about when I realised that love from a partner is never unconditional. I think it’s where my lack of trust in relationships began, when my hyper independence began and when I started searching for people that I knew could never love me so I would never get hurt again."

In related news, Metronomy recently shared the Pan Amsterdam collaboration Nice Town, which arrived alongside news that the band have signed a deal with Ninja Tune, after half a decade on Because Music. They put out the guest-heavy 'Posse EP Volume 1' in 2021, followed by their 'Small World' LP in 2022.

'Almost Love' tracklist:

1. Almost Love
2. Tech Não
3. Fall Back
4. Under A Halo
5. Nervous
6. Up2You
7. Who Is She
