Wardruna Announce UK And European Shows As Part Of 2024 And 2025 World Tour

Wardruna have announced an extensive world tour for 2024 and 2025.
The Norwegian prog-folk band will call in Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Bristol, York, Dublin and Glasgow next March, before dates across Norway in April and May. They also have their first ever Australian and New Zealand gigs lined up for January.
Ahead of next year's shows, they'll play their only US concert of 2024 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on October 3, with Chelsea Wolfe supporting as a special guest. They also have a run of European gigs scheduled for this November. Composer Einar Selvik commented:
"It is always a special feeling to plan and announce a new tour. This time, perhaps more so than usual due to the fact that we are visiting quite a few parts of the world where we have yet not performed with Wardruna. We greatly look forward to the chance to make new bonds in new lands."
Tickets for the UK and Ireland run are on general sale at 9am BST on Friday (April 12), with the US and European dates on sale at 10am local time the same day. Their dates down under go on general sale at 9am local time on April 16.
Wardruna returned earlier in April with the new single Hertan (Heart), which heralds the start of a new chapter for the band, who put out the album 'Kvitravn' in 2021, followed by 'Kvitravn – First Flight Of The White Raven' in 2022.
