Horsegirl have released a new single, Switch Over.
Drawing on '90s indie-rock and guided by shared vocals over motorik percussion, the guitar-led track follows 2468 and Julie in previewing the New York-via-Chicago trio's second album, 'Phonetics On and On', due out on February 14 via Matador Records.
Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein and Gigi Reece have also unveiled the song's accompanying video, directed by Guy Kozak.
The follow-up to their 2022 debut 'Versions of Modern Performance' was produced by Cate Le Bon and recorded at The Loft in Chicago.
The band will support the release with UK and European tour dates in the summer, which include a show at London's Scala on June 20. They'll also play a special album launch show in Chicago on February 22 before embarking on a headline US tour in March with support from Free Range. Tickets are on sale now.
