Sparks have shared another single from their upcoming album.
Showcasing a melancholic, theatrical side of brothers Ron and Russell Mael's sound, Drowned In a Sea Of Tears offers the duo's signature clever lyricism and dynamic vocals, and comes with a video that features a woman overwhelmed by grief.
Sparks will release the follow-up to 2023's 'The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte' on May 23 via Transgressive Records.
Alongside the new music, they've announced an extensive North American tour for September. Tickets go on general sale at 10am next Friday (April 11).
They'll also play shows in Japan between June 8 and 13, before a summer UK and European tour that includes newly announced shows in Dublin, Edinburgh and Wolverhampton, and an appearance at Bilbao BBK Festival in Spain.
Sparks previously confirmed shows at London's Eventim Apollo, Manchester's O2 Apollo, and Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall, ahead of stops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark, Sweden and Italy, between June 18 and July 8.
Tickets for the new headline gigs go on general sale at 9am this Friday (April 4). All other dates are on sale now.
