Judas Priest And Alice Cooper Announce Co-Headline Fall North American Tour

Judas Priest and Alice Cooper will team up for a co-headline North American tour in the fall.

The 22-city trek will kick off at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi on September 16, and wrap up at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas on October 26.

Notable stops include Charlotte's PNC Music Pavilion, Toronto's Budweiser Stage, Cincinnati's Riverbend Music Center, Salt Lake City's First Credit Union Amphitheatre, Los Angeles' Kia Forum and Phoenix's Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre.

Support will come from Corrosion Of Conformity on all dates except in Alpharetta, Georgia. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 18).

Judas Priest (pictured) have been busy touring behind their 2024 studio album, and 19th overall, 'Invisible Shield'. They'll tour Europe and the UK this summer, with the trek including a show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on July 23 and a co-headline gig with Alice Cooper at the O2 Arena, London on July 25. Tickets are on sale now.

In related news, it was announced earlier today that former Priest drummer Les Binks had died, aged 73. Binks played drums for the metal icons between 1977 and 1979, performing on the classic albums, 'Stained Class' and 'Killing Machine', both released in 1978, and the 1979 live album 'Unleashed In The East'. 

In a statement posted to Instagram, Judas Priest wrote: "We are deeply saddened about the passing of Les and send our love to his family, friends and fans. The acclaimed drumming he provided was first class – demonstrating his unique techniques, flair, style and precision. Thank you Les – your acclaim will live on…"

Alice Cooper, meanwhile, has also been on the road, touring North America with his Too Close For Comfort Tour, and playing co-headline shows with Rob Zombie on the Freaks On Parade Tour. The veteran shock rocker released his most recent album, 'Road', in 2023.
