Julien Baker And Torres Share Video For New Single Bottom Of A Bottle

Julien Baker and Torres have shared the final preview of their joint album.
Bottom Of A Bottle is the last single to be lifted from their collaborative LP, 'Send A Prayer My Way', prior to its release this Friday (April 18). It follows the record's previously shared cuts Sugar In The Tank, Sylvia, Tuesday and Dirt.
Featuring fiddles, parlor piano and steel guitars alongside their own guitars and band, the new track is still dominated by Torres' captivating and dynamic storytelling vocals, bolstered by Baker's harmonies, and has an earworm chorus that resonates after just one play. Having played in-store shows at Rough Trade East and St John's Church in London in March, the pair will begin their Send A Prayer My Way Tour of the US on April 23 at The National in Richmond, Virginia, with dates continuing through to early July.
They also have some festival appearances in the diary, including sets at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Zootown in Missoula, Montana, and Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky. Tickets are on sale now.
Baker released her latest solo album, 'Little Oblivions', in 2021, though since then she's recorded with Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus as Boygenius, who released their Grammy-winning debut, 'The Record', in 2023.
Torres, meanwhile, put out her most recent album, 'What An Enormous Room', in January 2024 via Merge Records.
