Lil Wayne has announced a show in New York City.
The Louisiana hip hop star will celebrate his long-awaited new album, 'Tha Carter VI', with a performance at the iconic Madison Square Garden on release day, June 6. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 25).
In addition to the NYC date, the rapper has a run of US shows scheduled for May, and club shows in Las Vegas in the summer. Tickets for those gigs are on sale now.
He has also shared the cover art for 'Tha Carter VI', the sixth instalment in his 'Tha Carter' series and first since 'Tha Carter V' in 2018. Since then, Weezy has appeared on a number of tracks by other artists, and dropped various projects, including 'Tha Fix Before Tha VI', in 2023.
