Elbow Announce 'AUDIO VERTIGO ECHO elbow EP5', Share New Single Sober

Elbow have shared a new single called Sober.
The soulful, groove-driven offering finds the Manchester indie giants exploring new territory while maintaining their signature blend of heartfelt, introspective songwriting and rich instrumentation.
It marks their first new music since last November's single Adriana Again, with both tracks set to appear on a new EP, 'Audio Vertigo Echo elbow EP 5', which is due out through Polydor/GEFFEN on June 6. The new project will mark their fifth EP to date and serves as a companion release to last year's UK chart-topping album, 'Audio Vertigo'.
Vocalist Guy Garvey described the EP as, "finishing something for the band in lots of ways. We’re having more fun in the studio than ever. Craig’s on fire, Pete and Alex are the coolest rhythm section going, and Pot’s unpredictable guitar is in a really soulful, accomplished place. The lyrics are stories from my past — sometimes joyful, often dark, but mostly true. It feels like we’re having another go on the Waltzers after hours."
Elbow will play multiple outdoor shows and festival dates across the UK this summer, ahead of a North American tour in September and October. Tickets are on sale now.
