The Libertines have been announced for the Eden Sessions.
The English band will top the bill at the Eden Project in St Austell, Cornwall on July 13, following sets from special guests Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, Sports Team, and Mên An Tol. Tickets go on general sale at 3.30pm today (May 12).
Also confirmed as headliners for the 2025 edition of the concert series are Texas, Gary Barlow, The Script, Deftones, Biffy Clyro, and Madness. Get tickets for those shows here.
The Libertines, whose latest album is 2024's 'All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade', will also play Glastonbury Festival on June, 29, Dreamland for the Margate Summer Series on July 5, Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax on August 8, and London's Gunnersbury Park on August 9, where they'll host their own festival. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
Co-frontman Peter Doherty will release his new solo album, and first in nine years, 'Felt Better Alive', this Friday (May 16). Singles already shared from the record include The Day The Baron Died, Calvados and the title track.
He'll play a Spotlight Show at Brighton's The Great Escape Festival this Wednesday (May 14), showcasing his Strap Originals label, before celebrating the album at in-store gigs in Leeds, Liverpool, Nantwich, Kingston and London between May 16 and 21, and multiple outdoor dates over the summer. Tickets are on sale now.
