Skindred have announced UK shows for the autumn.
Billed as The Detour Tour, the dates will take the ragga-metal band off the beaten track, kicking off at Keele University Student Union on October 16 and concluding at Folkestone's Leas Cliff Hall on November 14.
Other stops on run include Tenby, Swansea, Buckley, Frome, Worthing, Warrington, Wolverhampton, Middlesbrough, Wakefield, Torquay and Bournemouth.Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday (June 11). Drummer Arya Goggin said:
"We as a band are extremely conscientious about venturing outside of just the major UK cities to spread the Skindred sound. This October the "Detour” is our attempt to do just that. As a band we love to play live, but there are so many amazing towns and cities with fantastic venues across the country that get forgotten and need to be supported. That’s where our “Detour” comes in! We can’t wait to head back out across the UK this October on our “Detour.” See you there!"
Ahead of the tour, the MOBO-winning party-starters will play a number of European festivals throughout the summer, including Hellfest in France, and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium later this month. They also have a number of dates in Germany scheduled for later in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
The band released their latest album, and eighth overall, 'Smile', which shot straight to number two in the Official UK Albums Chart upon its release in 2023.
