Skindred have announced a tour of the UK and Ireland for the autumn.
The Newport ragga-metal trio have lined up shows in Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast and Glasgow between October 24 and November 13, as well as a special Halloween performance at London's Alexandra Palace on October 31.
Support at the London and Birmingham shows will come from Alien Ant Farm, Spineshank and Orgy, with Spineshank also appearing in Nottingham, Orgy in Dublin and Belfast, and more support acts to be announced in due course.
Skindred will hit the road in support of their Jay Rushton-produced new album, 'You Got This', due out on April 17. Singles already shared from the record include Can I Get A, This Is The Sound and the title track. Skindred drummer Arya Goggins said:
"We wanted to do something really special to support the release of our new album 'You Got This'. After touring with our friends Alien Ant Farm in Europe last year, we had to bring them to the UK to join the Skindred party! Halloween is always such a special night, for both us and our fans, so this year our annual ‘Night of the Living Dred’ show will be its biggest ever at London’s Alexandra Palace! Along with Alien Ant Farm we have Spineshank and Orgy joining us. It’s going to be a really special night with loads of surprises.”
The MOBO Award-winners will accompany the album's release with a short in-store tour, followed by some major UK and European outdoor shows in the summer, including a date supporting Alter Bridge at the Blackbird Festival at Cardiff Castle in June, a headlining appearance at Manchester's Radar Festival, and slots at Boomtown Fair and Beautiful Days festival in August. They'll also embark on their first headline tour of Australia in September.
Tickets for their new autumn UK and Ireland tour go on general sale at 10am on Friday (March 27). All other dates are on sale now.
