The Hives Post Pop Art Video For New Single Paint A Picture

The Hives have shared a video for their new single, Paint A Picture.
The track finds the Swedish rockers delivering a more '70s punk-leaning sound, offering up nostalgia that avoids feeling stale due to their trademark energy. It arrives with a pop art-style video directed by Filip Nilsson and Henry Moore Selder, who they previously worked with on their noughties hit Hate To Say I Told You So.
The band described Paint A Picture as, "a song about trying to convince people and yourself that living outside of society is a good idea. This song has been a fan favourite for ages among the lucky few who have heard it in concert."
The track is the latest preview of their new album, 'The Hives Forever Forever The Hives', which is due out on August 29. They previously teased it with the single Enough Is Enough, which they shared in April alongside the album's details.
The Hives will support their new record with a world tour that will begin with the Australian leg in July. The North American shows will take place in September, with the UK and European leg kicking off in mid-October and running until early December. Tickets are on sale now.
