Whoopi Goldberg has announced two UK shows.
The American star, whose career spans more than 40 years across film, television and theatre, will appear at London's Eventim Apollo on September 4 and Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on September 5, marking her first performances on these shores in a decade.
Billed as Whoopi Goldberg: Live, the shows will see the 69-year-old in conversation, reflecting on her life, career and the experiences that have shaped her personally and professionally. Each evening will also feature a Q&A session. Goldberg said:
"I’ve always loved performing for UK audiences. I can’t wait to take the stage at these two incredible venues and share some stories, some laughs, and maybe even a little truth."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (June 20).
