Paul Carrack Announces New Album 'The Country Side Of Paul Carrack' And UK Tour For 2026

Paul Carrack has announced a UK tour for 2026.
The former member of Mike and the Mechanics, Roxy Music and Squeeze is set to hit the road with his band next spring. Stops include Gateshead, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Brighton, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and London, where he'll wrap up the trek at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on May 10. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (June 27).
Carrack has also announced that he'll release his first country album, 'The Country Side of Paul Carrack, Vol.1', on July 4, with the vinyl following on August 1. He said:
"I’ve always wanted to make a country album. A lot of people detect the influences of soul in my music but I’ve also always loved country. Growing up, I was hungry for any kind of music but I would listen to people like Chet Atkins, The Everly Brothers, Hank Williams and I particularly loved Ray Charles, who is predominantly known for his soul and jazz stuff, but could also sing really great country."
Tracks already shared from the follow-up to 2023's 'Don't Wait Too Long' with the SWR Big Band include Love Will Keep Us Alive and Take These Chains From My Heart.
