Cast have announced a new album.

The Liverpool Britpop stalwarts, who are currently on the road opening for Oasis on the reunited band's Live '25 Tour, will release 'Yeah Yeah Yeah' on January 30, 2026, via the Manchester-based indie label Scruff of the Neck Records.

Created with Youth, known for his work with The Verve, Pink Floyd, and Primal Scream, the LP was recorded at the legendary producer's Space Mountain studio in Spain. Frontman John Power said:

"'Yeah Yeah Yeah' just arrived out of the blue. There was a window of opportunity - Youth was free, the studio was free, and the band were free - and I thought, let providence prevail. No one had heard the songs apart from myself and Alan McGee, but we both thought that we had something. You could feel it, even though none of the songs were really finished, and so we decided to roll with it and record them. It was more than just trying to capture a vibe - it was about trying to record something majestic, which is how Youth describes the record."

To coincide with the announcement, Cast have released the first single from the record, Poison Vine featuring soul legend P.P. Arnold, whose powerful backing vocals elevate the song's infectious propulsive groove.

Power added: "There’s an angst to Poison Vine that wrote itself: ‘Something deep inside you want me to find.’ It’s got a groove and a sassiness throughout the track, but when I heard them two vocals kicking in on the chorus, then I just knew we had it! I thought, that’s it, that’s the real thing."

In addition to their dates with Oasis, they'll support Roger Daltrey at a Heritage Live show in Essex on August 1, Doves at Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax on August 23, and James at Sheffield's Don Valley Bowl for the Rock N Roll Circus series on August 31. They'll also headline the Live At Scorrier House series in Cornwall next month.

In the autumn, they'll embark on a headline tour of the UK and Ireland, celebrating 30 years of their 'All Change' LP. Tickets are on sale now.
