Kate Bush is set to release a new compilation record, 'Best Of The Other Sides'.
The remastered collection features the British singer's b-sides and other songs that have never featured on a studio album. The tracks were originally released as part of 'The Other Sides', an extra disc in Bush's 2018 rarities box set 'Remastered II', which is no longer available
However, her Fish People label will release the collection digitally this Friday (September 26), with coloured vinyl and CD formats following on October 31. Commenting on her website, Bush said:
"We have remastered Experiment IV and You Want Alchemy? and both include a small edit. I felt Experiment IV would benefit from a longer intro featuring Alan Murphy's magnificent guitar. You Want Alchemy? also has a small edit that tightens up the outro and we've re-eq'd the track. Walk Straight Down The Middle has also benefitted from being re-eq’d. Hope you enjoy the tweaks!"
The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame inductee has released 10 studio albums to date, the most recent being 2011's '50 Words For Snow'. She also put out the live record 'Before The Dawn' in 2016.
Last year, she was ambassador for Record Store Day UK and released a one-off 10" Record Store Day edition of her single Eat The Music exclusively via independent record shops. She also released her anti-war animated short film, Little Shrew, which won Best Animation at the New York Animation Festival in December.
