James have announced a new greatest hits collection.
The Manchester indie giants will release the career-spanning 'Nothing But Love (The Definitive Best Of)' through UMR on November 21. Presented chronologically, the collection features early singles, fan favourites, rarities selected by the band, and two new tracks, Wake Up Superman and Hallelujah Anyhow.
It'll be available as a three-CD deluxe set, coloured double LP, and five-LP set. The three-CD edition includes the original Sit Down (Rough Trade Version), available digitally for the first time and to buy for the first time in 35 years. The latter includes tracks from the band's 2024 chart-topping album 'Yummy', as well as 14 songs that make their vinyl debut. The two-LP coloured vinyl also offers a curated "highlights" selection.
New track Wake Up Superman will receive its first play on Vernon Kay's BBC Radio 2 show at 11am BST on Wednesday (October 8).
To coincide with the announcement, James have scheduled their biggest run of arena shows for April 2026, billed as the Love Is The Answer Tour. They'll head to Utilita Arenas in Birmingham, Newcastle and Cardiff, plus Leeds' First Direct Bank Arena, Aberdeen's P&J Live, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena, The O2 Arena in London and Co-op Live in Manchester.
Support will come from special guests Dove. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (October 10).
Having just wrapped up a North American tour performing their classic 1993 album 'Laid', James will play shows in South America next month. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
