Squeeze will hit the road in late 2026 with the Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour.
The renowned English rockers will celebrate their more than 50-year career and their new album with headline arenas in Glasgow, Blackpool, Nottingham, Newcastle, Stockton, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Swansea, Plymouth, Bournemouth and Brighton between November 12 and December 5.
Support will come from special guest Billy Bragg. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on November 28.
Speaking about the tour, co-founding member and guitarist-vocalist Glenn Tilbrook said:
"The reaction to the 50th anniversary tour in 2024 was amazing. We have never sounded better and it feels really special to be looking forward to playing the biggest headline shows of our career. And having Billy Bragg on the same bill, what’s not to love!”.
Co-founding member and guitarist-vocalist Chris Difford also commented: “It’s going to be amazing to show off songs from our album Trixies and, of course, all the hits and some surprises. I’m also excited that Billy Bragg will be joining us for all the shows.”
The tour will see Squeeze again supporting the charity Trussell by having food donation points at each venue on the tour, as well as buckets for cash donations. They will also be donating £1 from the sale of every ticket to support grassroots music venues, artists and promoters, with Tilbrook this week having become a patron of the Music Venue Trust.
The band recently announced their new album, 'Trixies', which is due for release on March 6. Although it will be new material to fans, it was actually written by Difford and Tilbrook when they were 19 and 16, respectively. It's revolves around a collection of tales set in a fictional night club.
