TOMORA, the new side-project from The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands and Aurora, have shared their debut single.
Arriving via Capitol Records, Ring The Alarm is a high-energy fusion of sharp, piercing electronics, pulsating bass and swirling, urgent vocals from the Norwegian singer-songwriter. They said: "We wanted TOMORA to be a band, not two individuals. It's our musical feeling come to life."
Head below to view the song's hypnotic video, directed by The Chemical Brothers' longtime collaborator Adam Smith, who has also previously worked with Aurora.
Rowlands and Aurora, who combined their first names to form the project's name, have been teaming up since 2019. Aurora contributed vocals to The Chemical Brothers' 2019 album 'No Geography', and Rowlands produced tracks for her 2024 album, 'What Happened To The Heart?'.
The Chemical Brothers released their latest studio album, and 10th overall, 'For That Beautiful Feeling', back in 2023.
Aurora put out a deluxe edition of 'What Happened To The Heart?' in May. She'll play an intimate show at London's Union Chapel on December 10 in aid of War Child.
