Sammy Virji will play a huge show in Wales this summer.
The garage DJ and producer from London will headline and curate the line-up for TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on July 18.
Pre-sale tickets go live via Ticketmaster from 10am on Thursday (January 29), ahead of general sale at 10am on Friday (January 30).
DEPOT Live founder Nick Saunders said: “Cardiff, you asked and we’ve delivered – this is going to be an incredible night here at the Castle!
“Sammy Virji has been flying the flag for UK garage worldwide over the last few years and is genuinely one of dance music’s biggest breakthrough stars – a true icon on the global stage.”
He joins an already stacked line-up for Depot Live this summer, which includes headliners Self Esteem, Jimmy Eat World, Bowling For Soup, Katy Perry, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, Richard Ashcroft, Sex Pistols, MIKA, Two Door Cinema Club, Ethel Cain and Alter Bridge, who'll headline and curate their own Blackbird Festival. Virji, who last year released his second album 'Sam Day Cleaning', also has upcoming shows in the US, Australia and Europe, ahead of two London shows at Alexandra Palace in April, which he'll warm up for with a Glasgow show a couple of days before.
Following the Cardiff show, he'll headline Krankbrother's takeover of Finsbury Park on August 7, joined by a supporting line-up of his favourite artists. Tickets for all his previously announced gigs are on sale now.
