Absolutely has released the title track of her upcoming second album.
Opening with gentle keys and hushed vocals before building into a cinematic, shimmering indie-pop anthem, the eponymous track from 'Paracosm' follows singer, songwriter and producer Abby-Lynn Keen's earlier singles No Audience, I Just Don't Know You Yet, and Goodbye Glitter.
It serves as the final preview of the follow-up to 2023's 'Cerebrum', which is set for release this Friday (February 20). Speaking about its creation, Absolutely said:
"I had to relearn how to create the way I did as a child — without rules or fear. Once I tapped back into that freedom, the world of Paracosm opened up completely. I built these fun, imaginative worlds that would make my younger self feel happy, safe, and seen."
The London vocalist is currently amid a run of UK dates supporting her sister RAYE on her This Tour May Contain New Music shows, alongside her other sister Amma. The tour continues with the second of two dates at Manchester's Co-op Live tonight (February 18), before multiple nights in Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Dublin, followed by North American shows in spring and a return to London in mid-May. Absolutely also has UK and European dates supporting Reneé Rapp scheduled for next month.
Later in the spring, she'll play BottleRock Napa Valley in California and The Governors Ball in New York. Tickets are on sale now.
