Arlo Parks has announced her Desire World Tour.
The Mercury Prize-winning British artist will kick off the trek with shows across North America from August 29 to October 1, beginning at Washington D.C.’s Howard Theatre and wrapping up at the Knockdown Center in Queens, New York.
The European leg will take place between October 17 and December 2, launching with shows in Dublin, London, Glasgow, Bristol and Manchester, before stops in cities in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on March 13, except for Warsaw and Vienna, which go on sale at the same time on March 12.
The tour’s title is inspired by Parks’ third album, ’Ambiguous Desire’, due out on April 3. She’s already previewed it with the singles Heaven and 2SIDED.
Parks will also support the record with a series of out-store UK shows during the week of its release, tickets for which are on sale now.
Earlier in the summer, she’ll support David Byrne at Dublin’s St Anne’s Park on June 7 and play Fuji Rock Festival in Yuzuwa, Japan on July 24.
