Barry Manilow Announces First New Studio Album In Almost 15 Years 'What A Time'

Barry Manilow has announced his first new album in almost 15 years.
The Grammy, Tony, and Emmy award-winning entertainer will release 'What a Time' on June 5, marking his 33rd studio album and first containing almost all-original material since 2011's '15 Minutes'.
Produced with long-time collaborator Michael Lloyd, the 13-track record features additional production from Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Dave Cobb, and Manilow's long-time songwriting partners Bruce Sussman and Adrienne Anderson.
Alongside the announcement, the 82-year-old has shared a new single titled Sun Shine, a melodic, feel-good song which will be joined on the album by his 2025 track Once Before I Go. It also includes collaborations with singer Sharon “Muffy” Hendrix on When Somebody Says Goodbye and jazz saxophonist Dave Koz on Look At Me Now.
Manilow was forced to cancel shows for his Las Vegas residency recently due to lung surgery recovery. In February, he pushed the dates back again, saying he needed more time to recover before returning to the stage. He's now expected to kick off his 2026 farewell tour dates, billed The Last Concerts, at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on April 13.
He'll bring the tour to the UK in the summer, when he'll headline arenas in Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham and London, wrapping up the run at the O2 Arena on June 17. Tickets are on sale now.
