Due to ongoing demand, Shakira has added another show to her residency in Madrid later this year as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.
The Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning Colombian superstar has extended the run at the purpose-built "Shakira Stadium" with an additional performance on October 9.
She originally announced the residency in March with three dates, before extending the run with eight additional shows to meet demand for tickets. The newly added date brings her total at the venue to 12, with the residency marking the singer's first shows in the region in eight years.
Earlier this week, Shakira expanded the summer US leg of the tour, confirming second shows at arenas in San Jose, Atlanta, Miami, Boston and Brooklyn in June and July. The run also includes two nights in Los Angeles and Newark, as well as single shows in Palm Springs, Dallas, Baltimore, Belmont Park and Atlantic City.
The extra dates come after Shakira's massive free show on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach last weekend (May 2), where she played to over two million fans as part of the Todo Mundo No Rio concert.
She'll also play a rescheduled show at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on November 28, following a headline set at Abu Dhabi's Offlimits Music Fest on November 21.
The current tour is named after her 2024 album, her first in seven years. Tickets for her new performance in Madrid go on general sale at 10am local time on Wednesday (May 13), while her extra US shows go on sale at 10am on Monday (May 11). All other dates are on sale now.
