Ministry Announce Final Album 'Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)' And Farewell Tour Dates

Ministry have announced that they're calling it a day.
The Industrial metal legends will release what they're calling their final album, 'Hate To Go (Take Out or Delivery)', on October 30 via Cleopatra Records.
It's not the first time frontman Al Jourgensen has announced the end, having previously said goodbye after 2007's 'The Last Sucker' and again following 2013's 'From Beer To Eternity', but this time it appears he's serious. He said:
“I’m fucking done. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats."
The album also marks the return of longtime bassist Paul Barker, who appears on the closing track, We're Still Here for his first performance on a Ministry studio album since 2003's 'Animositisomina'.
Alongside the announcement, the band have shared the first single from the record, Burned Out, which takes aim at today's world and those in charge, serving up their signature distorted guitars, heavy industrial riffs and Jourgensen's aggressive vocals.
They've also announced spring UK and European dates for what's billed as their Hate To Go: Goodbye Europe 2027 farewell tour, featuring support from special guest Die Krupps. Tickets for the UK and Ireland leg go on general sale at 10am today (July 27).
Ahead of the new dates, they'll play some US dates this September and October, including the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and appearances at Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas.
Their most recent studio album is 2024's 'Hopiumforthemasses'.
