Bonobo Previews 'Distance In Static' With New Single Always On Your Side Featuring Joy Crookes

Bonobo, aka DJ Simon Green, has released a new single.
Soulful and atmospheric, Always On Your Side pairs the musician and producer's lush, strings-laden production with the soulful, emotive vocals of BRIT and Mercury Prize-nominated singer Joy Crookes. It arrives with a video featuring the pair alongside behind-the-scenes footage showing how the track was made.
Always On Your Side follows Bonobo's earlier singles Fire On The Water featuring Arooj Aftab, Drift and Me and You in previewing his new album, 'Distance in Static’, due out on September 11 via Ninja Tune. The album also includes collaborations with Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Nicole Miglis of Hundred Waters and Aanya Martin.
Bonobo will follow the album's release with a North American tour later this year, billed as Distance In Static Live, which will see him deliver a new liveshow designed by Pierre Claude. He also has several UK and European DJ dates scheduled over the next few months. Tickets are on sale now.
