Feeder Reveal Return To Rock For New Album

Saturday, 30 September 2006 Written by Stereoboard.com
ImageFeeder have promised fans a return to their rock roots on their forthcoming new album.

Singer Grant Nicholas told Xfm that he has written more than ten songs for the Welsh trio's follow-up to 2005's 'Pushing The Senses'.

He said: "It’s sounding good, a lot rockier than our previous stuff,so it’ll be interesting to see what people think of it.

"It’s good, I mean it’s a bit more guitary than our last record, a bit more upbeat. I think people who liked some of our earlier stuff are gonna like it, but it’s done in a slightly different way.

"There’s a few quite poppy songs as well, I dunno, maybe having a young daughter’s keeping me on the edge!"

Feeder will be playing two gigs in London next month for the War Child Charity.

The band will play The Roundhouse in Camden on the 6th November and the Coronet in Elephant & Castle on the 9th, promising two different unique sets for each gig.
