Pet Shop Boys are an electronic dance music and synth-pop duo from London, consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe.

Formed in 1981, they are pioneers of the synth-pop phenomenon that hit the UK in the '80s. Now in 2020, they are ranked as one of the world's best-selling music acts, having sold over 100 million records worldwide.

Their back catalogue is more than impressive, with the duo having racked up a staggering 42 Top 30 singles, 22 Top 10 hits, and four number ones, as well as them being proud owners of a number of platinum and multi-platinum records.

To date, they have released 14 studio albums, alongside various live records and EPs. Their most recent LP came in the form of 2020's 'Hotspot'.

Pet Shop Boys have rescheduled the UK leg of their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live Tour to summer 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
