Pet Shop Boys have scheduled a series of intimate London shows for next spring, billed as Obscure Pet Shop Boys.
The electro-pop pioneers will play five nights at the Electric Ballroom in Camden between April 6 and 10, with the April 8 performance of the run announced as a special benefit concert supporting War Child. Tickets for all five dates go on general sale at 10am on November 21.
Each gig will see Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe deliver a set of deep cuts and b-sides from throughout their career, with many tracks receiving their live debut. The pair said:
"We are very excited at the prospect of going deeper into our song catalogue in these shows and giving album tracks, b-sides and fan favourites a chance to be heard live."
Pet Shop Boys released their most recent studio album, 'Nonetheless', in 2024. Their ongoing greatest hits tour, Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live, will take them to the TK Maxx presents Lytham Festival in Lancashire on July 4, marking a homecoming for keyboardist Lowe, who was born and raised on the Fylde Coast in Blackpool. Tickets are on sale now.
The duo are set to drop the latest collection in their 'Disco' remix series, 'Disco 5', on November 21, featuring 12 remixes from artists including Noel Gallagher, Primal Scream, Paul Weller and Tina Turner, as well as a new take on Dreamland with Olly Alexander.
They've also announced Volume, a 592-page hardback book marking 40 years since their 1986 debut album, 'Please', out on April 7 via Thames and Hudson.
