One of the most popular tribute bands in the UK, The Complete Stone Roses, have announced an extensive tour of England, Scotland and Wales, set to kick-off later this year in October.
Unfortunately if you’re looking for a live performance from The Stone Roses, you’re 14 years too late! However, if you want to re-live or experience the groove and vibe that captured fans during that era then The Complete Stone Roses are the band for you.
Regularly playing to sell-out crowds and popular on the festival scene, The Completes, as they are commonly referred to, have earned recognition from the likes of Bez of The Happy Mondays and bands such as The Seahorses, The Smiths and Shed Seven. The band even have the support from Roses bassist Mani who said: "They're a great little band, the first time I saw them it was quite weird, but they're doing the songs justice. They're good players first and foremost - they're not fakers.... Tonight they sounded better than we did before we split."
Retaining the legacy, The Complete Stone Roses perform all the classic songs from the two albums released prior to The Stone Roses splitting up in 1996. Amongst others, songs featured in the live shows include Fool’s Gold, She Bangs The Drums and Waterfall.
