Dan Reed Network is an American funk rock band from Portland, Oregon, consisting of frontman Dan Reed, alongside guitarist Brion James, bassist Melvin Brannon II, keyboarder Blake Sakamoto, and drummer Dan Pred.

The band released their debut EP, ‘Breathless’, in 1986, followed by their debut self-titled album in 1988. They put out their second LP, ‘Slam’, in 1989, followed by 1991's ‘The Heat’, before they initially split in 1993.

Dan Reed Network reformed in 2012 for occasional shows, returning to the UK to play Download Festival in 2014. They dropped their fourth album, ‘Fight Another Day’, in June 2016, and their latest came in the form of 2018's 'Origins'.

In the past, the band have headlined many of their own tours and shows across the UK, the US and Europe. They have also supported the likes of the Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi.
