De STAAT is an Dutch alternative rock band from Nijmegen, consisting of Torre Florim, Vedran Mircetic, Jop van Summeren, Rocco Bell and Tim van Delft.

Formed in 2006, the band released their debut album, ‘Wait for Evolution’, in 2006, which was followed by ‘Machinery’ in 2011 and ‘ I_CON’ in 2013. The band’s latest album, ‘O’, came out in January 2016. Their latest single, Kitty Kitty, came in August 2018.

The band have headlined their own shows and tours across Europe, and have supported the likes of dEUS on tour, and appeared at festivals such as Dot to Dot and Glastonbury.
